I know, you want it all!!

Get you the sparkle of the glistening sands of Hyams Beach on your wedding day and all the romance of a woodlands picture from Sutton Forest. A tip though, “don’t forget the guests” they are sitting around sometimes for hours (more than likely – at a pub getting drunk) wondering where on Gods earth are you?!

So firstly, remember your guests and try not to stray too far from the reception venue, 35-45 minutes away is a pretty good rule! That way, you keep ‘everyone’ happy.

These photos will be with you for the rest of your life, so you don’t want ‘just the same old location shot’ and that’s where the South Coast fits in!

It’s what makes the South Coast unique, the location shots for your day will always be spectacular when you visit places from Wollongong to Ulladulla and up to the amazing Southern Highlands of Bowral, Exeter and Sutton Forest. All these places have just that something special about them.

I asked good mate and amazing photographer Matthew Child about some of his favourite places to snap weddings and couples.

Not just that, I challenged him to find only FIVE of his BEST locations on the South Coast. So here’s each of our Top 5 we found;

Matthew’s Top 5

DSC_23441. Honeymoon Bay – It’s a great summer destination in itself. The shots are always amazing.

_MCP1999-Edit2. Kiama Harbour – Just a beautiful spot and the angles for photos get each part of what is a magestic place.

DSC_47953. Parma Road – Off the beaten track, that’s what makes the pictures unique.

_MCP73044. The Boneyard, Minnamurra. – Surfers always love seeing the brides at The Boneyard.

_MCP17555. The Butter Factory – Still to this day, one of the best location only 10 minutes from the Nowra CBD.

My Top 5.

I’m constantly thinking about how people like Matthew will photograph your wedding, so there’s a few laughs to get him firing with his trigger finger capturing great moments for you to hold forever. But get him to different locations and you are on a winner!!

_MCP5310-Edit-21. Old Bridge – Upper Kangaroo Valley. – Hands down just a beautiful place to get amazing wedding pictures. Imagine all your bridal party on the sides and you at the end – beautiful!

_MCP83782. Nowra Golf Club – With wide open greens and the sunset in the backdrop, what more could a married couple want on a canvas

DSC_0721-2-Edit3. Corramy Park at Basin View – Just 30 minutes from Nowra’s CBD is this cracking venue for Matt to go crazy and work his magic!!

MCP_3597-Edit4. Wollongong Harbour – It’s just an amazing place for photos, it’s popular so you may need a little patience.

DSC_84455. Wollongong Botanic Gardens – STOP IT! How good is this place for pictures, a photographers paradise. Oh and I can marry you in this setting too.

What about this picture!!

DSC_0990Matthew is also young, fun and completely professional. He just knows how to capture a moment.

Of course, if you are looking to get married, I have a range of different ceremonies for you to choose.

I’m more than happy to sit down and have a relaxed chat about what I can offer and how I’ll make your day, fun and most of all MEMORABLE!
